When it comes to Shamanic work (or any spiritual work for that matter), all too often, there is a rush to become a healer of others without first laying the necessary foundations of Self-Healing.
Those who embark on the quest to become a healer without first beginning to heal themselves will find their work mediocre at best.
This is because you don’t actually do the healing.
A good healer allows the power of Spirit to flow through them.
You are the conduit; you create a space where healing can happen.

And if your water is muddy, so to speak, then your healing efforts will be muddy as well.

At the start of my Shamanic Journey I really struggled. I wanted so badly to help others, but something wasn’t clicking.
I wasn’t able to generate the results I wanted to.
Everything changed when I realised that the results of my healing efforts were DIRECTLY LINKED to how much self-healing I was doing.
The more I healed myself, the more I was able to clearly channel the healing energies of the Universe.
