Love over Fear, what does that mean?
Sometimes, our relationship with the land is built on fear.
- Fear of climate change
- Fear of destruction
- Fear of what we might lose
That fear is real. But that isn’t the whole story.
Our ancestors didn’t relate to the land as something to protect. They were the land.
When they die, they don’t go somewhere else. They go into the stones, the trees, the waters.
- Their stories live in the mountains.
- Their wisdom lives in the rivers.
- Their bones became the soil that feeds our bodies.
To honour the land was to honour them.
To destroy the land was to dishonour them.
There was no separation.
So when we connect with the land only through fear, we disconnect from the deeper truth.
We forget the love. The kinship. The devotion.
Fear might be all you can connect with in the moment. But it carries a vibration. One that floods the collective with hopelessness.
The earth doesn’t need your fear. She needs your love.
In these times, your will to love must be stronger than your fear.
Your Guides and the land will help you.
- Greet the land each day as a beloved.
- Offer thanks when you walk a path or touch a tree.
- Listen for her voice rather than shouting your pain.
- Ask the Sovereign Goddess of the land what she needs.
- Tend to her the way you would tend to an elder.
- Listen to the wisdom of your Cauldrons.
I’m not saying everything’s fine.
I invite you to remember that love is a more sustainable fuel than fear.
