Winter Solstice is both a turning point and a pause. A breath in the wheel of the year when the descent into darkness ends and the ascension into light begins. It is a juxtaposition.

The darkest point of the year, heralding the return of the light.

Both dark and light are equally important parts of ourselves and we cannot hope to find peace until we know and connect with all parts of our Inner Landscape – including the bits we’d rather not admit were there. 

I’m talking about the Beast within. 

We all have a Beast Within, but we are encouraged to cage and suppress it, so it becomes malignant, angry, and something to be feared. 

But this Being within can and should be an ally. Not an enemy. 

Sadly, we are not taught how to meet, acknowledge, embrace and ultimately to know our Beast within. 

It can help you to put in place the boundaries you need in your life. Say no when you need to say no. Take time when you need to take time. 

A controlled, caged & starving Beast is dangerous and will often manifest as anxiety, anger, depression, physical symptoms, anger outbursts, defensiveness, boundary confusion, & other complex issues.

A loved, nourished and cherished Beast will happily slumber and rest until called.

In this workshop, you will step into the quiet vacuum of the dark to face your Beast within and then celebrate the triumph of the Sun’s eternal rejuvenation by finding a safe place for this part of yourself to live.

Our Community will come together to celebrate the divine rotation of ascent and descent that makes light and dark one and work towards an inner balance of dark & light. 

You will Journey to the dark and ask to know the Beast within, the balancing life force and power that hides in the dark recesses of our mind and body.
